Well, Anonymous. I am not sure what point you are making. There is no presumption of anything. I am merely pointing out that onionbag has blogged on this building. Personally, I find the building an eyesore whether or not it is covered in scaffolding. Ditto that pink dentist on Clapham Road. Onionbag has a point: if Lambeth imposes fines or legal threats, it ought to follow through.
Ya know Mrs Thomas Hardy has been hiding behind the same pink lace curtains along the Clapham Road for 2 years and she hasn't washed them once and to make matters worse she nearly got revealed in the local press recently and woowee she out-scooped herself. Poor old Mrs Hardy if only she'd change her curtains the whole neighbourhood would give a big sigh of relief - delete eh?? Your intro didn't mention anything but scaffolding Mrs Hardy - nothing about planning just boring scaffolding and now we have a pink coloured dentistry - why don't you join the T A they're getting regular changes of scenery currently and are short of Mrs Hardy's. D'you remember Portland Grove and the old chemicals house opposite Freemans where the kid burnt his scalp off by accident - that was ever so intersting and the house at Caldwell Street where kids used to play on the roof in front of the lovely coal yard? When they weren't catching wippies that is. And next dor was all bombed out wasn't it? Now its a lovely flash apartment block Mrs Hardy. Woops I've name dropped again.
