Ross Davies will be signing copies at the launch event for his new history of Vauxhall at the Tate Library, South Lambeth Road, on 2 December 2009 at 7pm.
Ross says: “What do most of who live, work or play in Vauxhall have in common? That we don’t know all that much about the place. I'd long wanted a breezy book about its history for myself, for the children, or as a present-cum-souvenir for friends, family, visitors – but one never appeared. So I wrote it myself!”
On 2 December, he will say more about the history of the book and how it came to be written.

Thank you for commenting. All comments are moderated so it may be a short while before you see your comment on the blog. I will keep back some comments relating to the current Seyi murder trial until it is over, as it is not appropriate to assume guilt or innocence until we have a verdict. I know this is painful to some people who have taken the trouble to comment, but I ask you to be patient.
