Stockwell hurricane poetry

Anon has brought my attention to a series of beautiful but troubling poems taped up in various places in Stockwell, and kindly photographed them for the blog.

in 2003, to 2008, the sounds of violent windstorms are now recorded on 37 tapes, so far. I faced winds well over 100mph, and worse, and I thought it would never end. Being in a hurricane is no joke, and it's daring. C.A. Sue

Bottom right:
in 2003, to 2008, the sounds of violent windstorms were recorded on 37 tapes, as it was happening. I faced winds up to 170mph, in one of the storms, and it was bad, but I got through it. Being in a hurricane is no joke at all, and I was not put off. C.A. Sue

wow! a couple of years ago someone taped small bunches of leaves to a couple of bus stops on the brixton road. They were situated about 7 feet from the ground...... not sure if this was sculpture ( somehow I think not) or some other 'boundary' marker.... they lasted over the summer

I saw one on the bus stop on Clapham Road outside the Mursell Estate. It didn't last long...

A few weeks ago someone taped up pictures of a woman in at least two sites on South Lambeth Road. I believe they both used a distinctive blue tape. One was taped to a rubbish bin near Rebato's and the other on the bus stop by the Canton Arms. One was a photograph, the other looked like animation, but they appeared to be of the same person. One was titled, I believe, "Laura." Could these be the work of the same person?

I have seen these all over Clapham over the last 6 years (at least) always in the same hand always the same, taped up in phone boxes and bus stops. Every autumn they appear and drive me crazy!!
